About The Project
This project was carried out for a leading luxury group in Paris and involves the rehabilitation of a former museum building. The multi-storey structure has been renovated to create about 15,000 m² of spaces dedicated to arts and crafts activities.

Project requirements
As part of the building’s transformation into a modern and technically equipped environment, the client required a dependable leak detection system capable of monitoring several floors of the facility. The system needed to provide rapid and precise alarm notification in order to protect sensitive infrastructure and equipment. TTK was entrusted with providing leak detection solutions for this project.
TTK’s Solutions
Protected Areas
Continuous leak detection monitoring is required across more than twenty technical rooms located in the basement, ground floor, and upper levels of the building.
The monitored areas include:
- IT / Data Room
- Server room
- Telecom / GSM Equipment Room
- Low Current Electrical Room
- High Voltage / Power Electrical Room
- UPS Room
- Main Switchboard Room
- Transformer Room
- Generator Room
- Artwork Storage Room
Addressing the Challenge
The rehabilitation of this historic building introduced several constraints in the design and installation of the leak detection system. These included limited technical space, the need to preserve architectural elements, and the integration of modern technical facilities such as server rooms and electrical equipment areas.
To address these challenges, TTK France recommended a flexible, centralized system architecture. The solution is based on a central monitoring panel connected to sense cables and diversion boxes, optimizing system layout while minimizing the use of jumper cables. This approach ensures both efficiency and discretion, maintaining compatibility with the building’s existing infrastructure.
Monitoring Panel FG-NET
The FG-NET digital panel, equipped with three independent circuits, offers high performance and scalability. It can monitor up to 1,800 meters of sense cables and detect multiple simultaneous leaks on each cable.
Fully integrated into the client’s Building Management System (BMS) via Modbus, the panel enables operators to receive real-time leak alerts, including the exact time and location, allowing for fast and informed intervention.
Sense Cables
Around 500 meters of sense cables, including both linear and sector water detection cables (FG-ECX and FG-ECS), are being deployed along perimeter layouts across multiple floors of the building. These cables are continuously monitored by the FG-NET panel.

Result
This solution provides the building operator with early warning and precise leak localization. It helps protect sensitive technical areas and artwork storage spaces, reduces the risk of costly damage, and supports the continuous operation of the future cultural facility.
